In The Art of Podcasting, you will learn how to use podcasting to share your unique voice with the world. Experienced instructors will guide you in collaborative and individual hands-on projects to build skills and knowledge, culminating in the development, recording, editing and publishing of your very own podcast. This hands-on program will help you bring your own unique podcast idea to life with instruction from award-winning journalist and former host of the WNPR flagship shows Morning Edition and All Things Considered, David DesRoches. Co-designed by Quinnipiacs own 10-year veteran and Professor of Journalism Ben Bogardus, youll learn the tools and techniques to develop, produce and edit your podcast, as well as how to communicate effectively and share ideas in a compelling way. At the end of this program, youll walk away with: Your own published podcast on a news-based subject you are passionate about that is hosted, produced and edited by you! A portfolio of work and projects that display communications skills and media techniques valuable across industries.
