
RISD Pre-College provides rising high school juniors and seniors with the opportunity to experience life as a RISD undergrad. You’ll be following a college-level curriculum for five weeks, including day-long studio workshops, critiques, and projects. You’ll be working with hundreds of other creative, highly driven students from all around the world who will challenge, inspire, and urge you to push your boundaries and produce your finest work. You’ll live like a RISD student, get access to famous resources and professors, build your portfolio, and forever transform your perspective on art and design.
Rising high school juniors and seniors may live like a RISD student while working alongside hundreds of other creative, highly driven kids who will inspire them to exceed their boundaries and produce their finest work at RISD Pre-College. Students will pursue a college-level curriculum that includes day-long studio workshops, trips to the Nature Lab and the RISD Museum, critiques, and projects that will permanently influence how they approach art and design.
Pre-College at Rhode Island School of Design (Providence, Rhode Island) is one of the world’s most established and known summer art and design programs for high school students—and also one of the oldest, having been in operation since 1971. With RISD Pre-College, you’ll take classes taught by professionals in the field.
