Rowland Hall is Utah’s oldest coeducational college-preparatory school, founded in 1867. School-wide, our student-teacher ratio is 10:1; the average class size is 16 students. Each of our schools four divisions Beginning School, Lower School, Middle School, and Upper School FOCUSES ON THE INTELLECTUAL AND DEVELOPMENTAL needs of its students, while as one school, we always have our eyes on the next stage in each childs learning. Gifted and dedicated teachers make up our faculty, 70 percent of whom hold or are pursuing advanced degrees. They are talented role models who, by their continual quest for knowledge and personal growth, motivate students to pursue their own studies with passion. Many are veteran teachers with more than a dozen years of teaching experience in their grade level or course of study.
