Sacred Heart Academy is a community, built upon the strong foundation of its heritage and nourished by the contributions of the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the faculty and staff, and each successive class of young women willing to take the quest ever higher. The Sacred Heart Academy campus is the home of a dynamic community of learning, laughter, and love. Each day, nearly 500 young women come through the doors and the result is an amazing explosion of energy! Whether in the classrooms, on the sports fields, in chapel, on the stage, or in the hallwaysthe SHA spirit is contagious! Sacred Heart Academy is first and foremost a community where people care about one another. SHA is a place where each student is known and encouraged to develop her gifts. Clelia Merloni, foundress of the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus chose as the Apostles’ guiding principle the words of St. Paul: The love of Christ impels us! It is Gods unconditional and merciful love for each one of us that has been and will continue to be the most important lesson taught here. The Gospel of Jesus Christ provides the criteria by which we measure our effectiveness.
