San Francisco Conservatory Of Music Summer Music 2025

Learn from world-class faculty in the heart of San Francisco’s arts district. This year’s programs include unique summer academies in Bass Clarinet, Guitar, Harp, Technology and Applied Composition, and Voice designed to cultivate young artists and their talent. Summer@SFCM features overnight programs as well as a day camp and two online camps. We are pleased to announce our summer opportunities for 2022, which include 4 Residential camps and 2 day camps. Technology and Applied Composition Immersive (June 19 -23, 2023) : Students will take a deep dive into music technology, media composition, and state-of-the-art production techniques. Students will learn hands-on about the evolving field of media composition. Ages 15-18 Guitar Workshop (June 26 – 30,2023) : Work with SFCM faculty and guests on this week-long guitar workshop. Take classes in Alexander Technique, improvisation, guitar technique, master classes and performance! Ages 13 – 18 Vocal Academy (July 24 – 29, 2023) : Interact with SFCM voice faculty and industry professionals through private lessons, group classes, coaching with pianists, master classes, small ensembles, and a final concert. Ages 14 -18 Bass Clarinet Intensive (June 12 – 16, 2023): A holistic approach to taking your bass clarinet playing to the next level. Participate in masterclasses and workshops, plus solo, chamber, and large ensemble performance opportunities. Ages 18+ Harp Camp (July 17 – 21, 2023) : (Day Camp): Hone your musical skills and connect with other young harpists from the Bay Area. During this five-day program, each harpist gets to perform solo, in a master class, and with the harp ensemble. Ages 12-18 instruction. Introduction to Music Composition (June 19 – July 7, 2023) ONLINE ONLY: Explore your inner composer in this 9 day introductory course. Ages 13 – 18 Computer Assisted Composing (June 19 – July 7, 2023) ONLINE ONLY: Get into coding to create sound and music! Learn to generate and present your musical ideas through your computer or using your preferred digital audio workstation. Ages 13 – 18
