Sigmacamp Residential Stem Summer Program 2025

Are you fascinated by math and science? Join equally excited students and leading researchers from top universities to discover more about the world around you. Our program includes all areas of STEM, including math, physics, biology, chemistry, etc. Beyond academics, Sigma is a great place to have an unforgettable summer camp experience in the rural outdoors, with sports, arts,, swimming, and campfires! SigmaCamp is a residential Science and Math camp for students ages 12 to 16. Sigma takes place at the picturesque foothills covered with majestic pine trees on the shore of the beautiful lake at Silver Lake Camp and Conference Center, Sharon, Connecticut. At SigmaCamp, students spend a week with other talented campers, who are interested in learning about the exciting puzzles and mysteries of the world around you. They are guided by college students and graduate students from top US universities and taught by leading professors and scientists from Stony Brook University, Brookhaven National Lab, Yale, Stanford, and MIT. The days are filled with discussions of the most exciting topics in contemporary science; hands-on experiments; debates; and educational games. In addition to the academic program, we have a diverse sports, music and art program. Learn games like soccer, volleyball, ping pong and chess. Yoga classes and swimming in the lake are also an option. You can experience the art of tree climbing, which will be carefully supervised by certified rope instructors. If you dont like sports you can paint, play music or practice your acting skills.
