Stagedoor Manor is a Performing Arts Training Center located in upstate NY. The program, for ages 10-18, is an immersion in the magicical world of Theater. There is no audition to attend. Every student is in a musical or play at all times. 8 theaters, 42 shows each summer. Over 60 beginner to advanced classes. For over 40 years, Stagedoor Manor has been considered the premier program for those who love to perform. Full-scale shows are created in an exciting summer stock atmosphere. Over 60 classes are offered at beginning and advanced levels. Enjoy a summer filled with celebrity and college workshops. Explore opportunities to write and direct. Each new 3-week session produces 9 musicals and 5 plays! Students join us from all over the world with a wide range of experience. A ratio of 290 students to 160 (over age 21) staff insures supervision is mature and involved. Stagedoor Manor was the winner of the NY Theater Museum Award for “Excellence in Theater Arts Education”. Alumni includes: Natalie Portman, Robert Downey Jr, Ansel Elgort, Skyler Astin, Beanie Feldstein.
