At The Hun School of Princeton, we learn with joy, share in each others successes, and shape action by actiona community where caring opens us to the best in ourselves and others. We meet our students at a seminal moment in their lives, when their sense of self is still evolving and their vision and capacities are beginning to emerge. We know that at such a pivotal moment, kind encouragement is as necessary as intellectual challenge. Our founder, Dr. John Gale Hun, built the School a century ago on the premise that learning is a highly personal process, best nurtured in close individual relationships between teacher and student. That powerful tradition is enacted every day, in small classes, by excellent teachers who know their students well, and by students who appreciate connecting to skilled and caring adults.
