The Academy, with English as language of instruction, offers Pre-school (Montessori Program) through twelfth grade level in the new modern facilities with air conditioned classrooms, computer and science labs. The Palmas Academy institutional commitment is to guide students from early childhood to a full college preparatory education oriented to community service and lifelong learning. The community support for this magnificent educational endeavor is evidenced by the increased enrollments on a yearly basis. The emphasis on Science and Math is been enhanced by the design and installation of modern biology, physics and chemistry laboratories. A spacious library is the center of the educational activity for students. A very competent and dedicated faculty guides the student-centered curriculum. The Academys well-known theater program starts in elementary extending itself to the High School level. The academy has a Resource Center for students with mild learning difficulties and an Extended Day Program offering music, arts, drama, dance, jewelry making, karate, swimming, gymnastics, soccer and supervised studies, among others. The Academy students thrive in sports, starting with Pre-school Soccer. Many Championships have been won in the Elementary COPSAA League (4th to 6th grades), and the PRHSAA League in sports like: soccer, volleyball, cross-country, golf, tennis, basketball, futsal, bowling, track & field, and swimming. The campus is accessed by many parents and students living in Palmas del Mar by means of golf carts and bicycles. Half of the student population travels from the adjacent municipalities that comprise the eastern area of P.R. Transportation is offered from Fajardo and Caguas.
