The Westchester School 2024 » Impressive Teens

The Westchester School is a year round, NY state approved special education day facility located in North Salem NY. We serve individuals with autism and multiple handicaps as well as children who are medically fragile. In addition to serving Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Dutchess and Orange counties, we also support the Mid-Hudson area, New York City and Fairfield County, CT. Our focus is on meeting the educational, social and emotional need of students with autism, medically fragile children, and students with communication and behavior disorders. Our educational mission establishes that each child, no matter how handicapped, is a valuable individual capable of high achievement and worthy of society’s best efforts. We are committed to identifying and meeting the diverse needs of each student through individualized educational programming. It is out mission to work cooperatively with families, students, the community, colleagues, and other professionals in order to promote each students success and well being as he/she prepares for future endeavors.?
