The UMKC Summer Debate Institute is a 2 and 4 week summer camp for High School students interested in learning about competitive policy debate. We will focus on the 2019-2020 NSDA Topic. The camp is hosted at the University of Missouri – Kansas City on our campus in the heart of Kansas City, MO. We focus on bringing affordable, quality instruction for our students. Past UMKC SDI participants have gone on to win NSDA Nationals in High School and win both the National Debate Tournament and Cross-Examination Debate Association National Tournament at the collegiate level. Our instructors have years of experience coaching debate in High School and/or College, and usually bring years of experience in summer camp instruction.
