This week-long residential program will allow girls in grades 10 through 12 to study several engineering fields. Construction management and architectural, biomedical, biomolecular, civil, computer, electrical, mechanical, and software engineering are among the fields investigated. MSOE (Milwaukee School of Engineering) instructors will teach the academic activities, with help from MSOE female engineering students. Students will also be able to apply engineering in the actual world after doing industrial excursions. The Women in Technology program covers a lot of the same ground as the Explore Summer Program, but with a focus on women in engineering.
Students will unwind in the evenings with events such as interactive comedy shows, bowling, Milwaukee tours, and a game night.
