Yorkville Athletics’ Outdoor Roller Hockey programs in Manhattan, New York will help young (middle school and high school) athletes of all levels improve their skills and build confidence.
The fall hockey league offers a variety of programs for young athletes interested in outdoor hockey. There is a street hockey league designed for beginners eager to learn the fundamentals of the sport. They also offer a league for older, more advanced players to train and play a weekly hockey game.
Athletes can expect to enhance their skating skills, build endurance, improve technique, and learn about the sport in a new way. With the help of the top-notch coaching staff, athletes will walk away from this program with refined skills, increase hockey IQ, new friends, and invaluable experiences.
Yorkville’s Floor/Roller Hockey Leagues and Clinics emphasize the essence of the sport and teach the fundamentals of skating and stick handling. The league will be coached and refereed by Adam Feld and Daniel Davie. Adam and Daniel have over 35 years of experience as hockey players, coaches, and teachers. Both have worked at summer camps as instructors, establishing a hockey culture that articulates their approach toward teaching kids of all levels and sharing the game they have learned to love.
