With more than 60 years of experience in running Israel programs, Young Judaea offers professional and well organized programs , with a perfect blend of fun, adventure, and inspiring education! We implement a pluralistic approach and expose our participants to all aspects of Israel and its society. Find out more! Discovery Israel is a 4-week trip designed for those who are looking to get a taste of Israel’s history, land and diverse communities and culture! Our teens do this by hiking, snorkeling and rafting, meeting with Jewish, Arab and Druze Israeli citizens, and engaging with local politicians and social justice leaders! The groups volunteer in projects across the country and get a first-hand look at Israel’s advanced contribution to global technology and agriculture! Israel Brushstrokes Brushstrokes is Young Judaea’s newest summer teen program and it focuses on art! We have teamed up with the famous Bezalel Academy of Art and Design for a unique introduction to Israel’s history, culture, and religious and political spheres through artistic expressions such as photography, animation and painting! With Bezalel, the students will have dedicated studio days to compliment their travel days of hiking, rafting and meeting with locals! On Brushstrokes, students get all of fun of a standard Israel summer trip but with a deeper and more personal experience. For example, when up on Mount Masada they will look at the architecture and artifacts as a way to understand the history that occurred there. They’ll also discuss coexistence and political expression with artists who use art as their main form of peace building while visiting The Wall of Peace in Sderot.
