The Saint Rose community engages motivated undergraduate and graduate students in rigorous educational experiences, and delivers distinctive & comprehensive liberal arts & professional programs that inspire graduates to be productive adults, critical thinkers, and motivated, caring citizens. Founded in 1920 by the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Carondelet, Saint Rose is a private, independent, co-educational college located on an urban, 48-acre campus in Albany, NY, the states capital. The College of Saint Rose offers Undergraduate and Graduate degree programs in four Schools: Arts & Humanities, Business, Education, and Mathematics & Science. The College is defined by a remarkably accomplished faculty, dedicated staff and a focus on students. We offer 116 undergraduate and graduate degrees and certificates to over 5,000 students. Our students are served by approximately 220 full time faculty. In addition, some 200 adjunct faculty bring a wealth of professional experience to the classroom, studio, lab and practice room.
