High Point University is a private liberal arts college located in central North Carolina. Over the past seven years the university has invested over $750 million in new construction and campus improvements to enhance both academic pursuits and student life. High Point is a small school with big school facilities. Its 16 varsity teams play at the NCAA Division I level. Students flock to High Point from 47 states and 34 countries, providing the school with great diversity in student history and experience. With 75 percent of students coming from out-of-state and 93 percent living on-campus, the student body has a distinct sense of family.
