Kennesaw State University (KSU) is the third-largest university in Georgia with more than 24,600 undergraduate and graduate students representing 132 countries. For 50 years, Kennesaw State University has been known for its entrepreneurial spirit and sense of community. Located just north of Atlanta, the University provides students with a combination of a suburban setting with access to one of the countrys most dynamic cities. As Georgias third-largest university, Kennesaw State offers more than 90 undergraduate and graduate degrees, including a growing doctoral program. Nationally recognized for its first-year and international programs, the University provides a unique blend of academic excellence, vibrant student life and world-class facilities. The Michael J. Coles College of Business ranks among the best in the country. In its Best Graduate Schools 2015 issue, U.S News & World Report listed Coles part-time MBA among the top 40 programs in the country. Kennesaw States nursing program, the largest in Georgia, offers students a multifunctional state-of-the-art teaching and learning lab consisting of fully functional mock hospital wards with mannequins that simulate a clinical setting. The Leland and Clarice C. Bagwell College of Education, the second-largest preparer of teachers in the state, will open its expanded facility in Fall 2014, which will enable the College to increase its academic footprint and offer additional graduate degree and certificate programs. The foundation for all undergraduate majors is a comprehensive and coherent general education program that promotes internationalized and connected learning in the liberal arts tradition. Kennesaw State offers more than 100 accredited disciplinary, interdisciplinary and professional undergraduate, baccalaureate degree programs in the arts, humanities, social sciences, mathematics, natural sciences, accounting, business fields, architecture, engineering, teacher education specialties, computing and information systems, and nursing. An expanding array of graduate degrees exists in education specialties, accounting, business fields, public administration, professional writing, conflict management, and nursing. We also offer a number of applied undergraduate and graduate certificate programs, as well as numerous minors.
