Each MSTC certificate is designed to improve individual skills and employability as well as help businesses and industry remain more competitive. Also offered at MSTC is an Apprenticeship earn-while-you-learn program of on-the-job training combined with related classroom instruction. Apprenticeships programs include Electrician, Heavy Equipment Operator, Plumber Apprenticeship, Ironworker, Steamfitter Apprenticeship and more. While indentured, the employer agrees to teach the student the skills of the trade and the apprentice agrees to learn the skills involved.
