The mission of Paine, a faith-based, historically black, private college, is to provide a liberal arts education that emphasizes academic excellence, ethical & spiritual values, social responsibility, and personal development. Degrees awarded include the Bachelor of Arts & the Bachelor of Science. You will engage in classes that are challenging, conduct research that you will present at regional, national and international conferences as an undergraduate student, and you will form bonds with a diverse group of students who come from varied walks of life and have had interesting life experiences. Along with developing an academically competitive advantage, you will also develop life-long friendships through a myriad of organizations, academic and social clubs, as well as Greek sororities and fraternities.
